Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Your return may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, depending on the product type.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. These items include but are not limited to:

  • Gift cards
  • Engines
  • Complete aftertreatment systems
  • Special order items as listed in the product description
  • Opened electrical parts (sensors, ACM's, etc.)

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. You will also receive an email showing that you have been refunded. Please allow several days for the credit to appear, if you still do not see it please contact us.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@dpfpartsdirect.com and we will assist you.

Tax Exemptions

If you qualify for a tax exemption you must contact us and arrange for the exemption before the order is placed. Once your order is placed we cannot refund the tax, and if you request to cancel the order it will be subject to the cancellation policy listed below.

Cancellations

If your order has to be cancelled for any reason (aside from our own error), we may charge a fee in order to offset the credit card processing fees that we incur. This fee is dependent on the payment method used, can can range from 3% to 8% (for installment orders). This includes orders for parts shipping to California where said parts are not legal for sale in CA (these items are listed as not for sale in CA in the product description).

Return Shipping

To return your product you need to have prior authorization from us. Different products will have different instructions, please contact us ahead of ordering if you have any questions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the product is found to be defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and will be deducted from your refunded amount. If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and without shipping insurance carriers will only cover up to $100 per package. Please make sure to keep a record of the tracking number and receipt from dropping off the package.
